The month of May rounds out with programs for everyone at the Milford Public Library. Programs are designed for all ages with most of them free to attend.
Friday, May 15 the Class of 2026 can stop in at the library between noon and 4:30 PM to decorate graduation caps. Bring your cap and make the design of your dreams. Stay for as long or take as little time as you want. All decorative materials are provided and refreshments will be served.
On Tuesday, May 19 at 3 PM, the library will hold a relaxed night of spring crafting where children can build a bird feeder or paint a house to add to a garden. All supplies are provided.
On Wednesday, May 20 at 5:30 PM, join the library for fun STEM activities with Snapology. Children can build critical thinking skills using Snapology for fun, interactive play. Registration is required for this program.
On Thursday, May 21 at 4 PM, Pizza and Paperbacks will be held. Stop in and enjoy a slice of pizza while sharing what you are currently reading. No registration required.
LEGO Club meets Tuesday, May 26 at 5:30 PM. This is designed for children six and older with each participant receiving a small individual LEGO set to create a masterpiece.
The second in the series “History of Book Banning” is planned for Wednesday, May 27 at 4:30 PM. This program focuses on 2020 and beyond, providing insight into how organized campaigns and specific actions work to achieve the goals of book banners compared to prior years.
Children can create a Father’s Day Card on Saturday, May 30 at 10 AM. All materials are provided and children are welcome to bring their own scissors and baby wipes to remove ink. Registration is required.
That same day, stop under the portico and talk to the DelMarVa Pigeon Club at 11 AM. Leanr more about these fascinating birds and meet a few of them.
