Second Street Players (SSP) is excited to announce its 2027 season and is putting out a call for directors.
Productions for 2027 will be Rumors, Disney’s The Lion King Jr., Terms of Endearment, Hairspray, Charlotte’s Web, Drinking Habits, and Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas: The Musical.
In addition to announcing the 2027 season, Second Street Players is now accepting applications to direct for all seven of their productions. Please note there are two separate applications – one for those applying to direct for the first time at SSP and one for those who have previously directed at SSP. Show dates as well as the licensing company for each show are listed on the applications.
Applications, which may be found on www.secondstreetplayers.com, are due by July 24, 2026; interviews will be held beginning the week of July 27, 2026, and run through July 31, 2026. Notification of director selections will be completed no later than August 8, 2026.
