It’s our show now, kid. The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in Beetlejuice Jr., the hilariously haunting musical based on the beloved film and Broadway hit. Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teen grieving the loss of her mother, moves into a house haunted by a recently deceased couple — and Beetlejuice, a mischievous demon with a wild zest for life. When Lydia enlists Beetlejuice to scare away the living, chaos erupts and a whole Netherworld of pandemonium is unleashed.
Featuring music and lyrics by Eddie Perfect and a book by Anthony King and Scott Brown, and based on the Geffen Company Picture, with a story by Michael McDowell & Larry Wilson, Beetlejuice Jr. earned eight Tony Award nominations and became a viral sensation thanks to its sharp humor, spooky fun, and surprising heart. Created for the generation that made it a hit, Beetlejuice Jr. is a wacky theatrical party for all!
Those unable to attend the audition but interested in auditioning and those looking for more information may contact directors Alan Lane at 302-612-6009 or Rachel Loper at 302-393-6870. Please check the SSP website for more information on casting opportunities or email [email protected].
