Milford School District is excited to welcome families to our Back-to-School Resource Day on Wednesday, August 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Milford Central Academy bus platform. The school is located at 1021 North Walnut Street in Milford.
This free event is designed to help students and families prepare for a successful start to the 2026-2027 school year by bringing together essential resources, helpful services, and community partners—all in one location.
Families can:
- Register incoming kindergarten students with computers and translators available to assist.
- Pick up free school supplies (while supplies last).
- Enjoy complimentary snacks.
- Schedule a free haircut (pre-registration required)
- Schedule medical services to help students meet school health requirements for free or low cost –Â pre-registration required
Whether you’re checking off your back-to-school to-do list or registering your child for kindergarten, Back-to-School Resource Day offers a convenient opportunity to prepare for the first day of school. Back to school supply lists can be found here.
“Our goal is to make sure every student begins the school year feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn,” said Superintendent Travis Moorman. “By bringing together these resources and services in one place, we’re making it easier for families to access the support they need while strengthening the partnerships that help our students thrive.”
Families planning to take advantage of the haircut or medical services are encouraged to reserve an appointment in advance using the links above.
