The City of Milford is beginning the process of updating the city’s 10-year Comprehensive Plan. As a result, they will hold an open house on Thursday, May 21 from 4 to 7 PM at the Public Works building, 180 Vickers Drive, Milford.
“The Comprehensive Plan is a combination of text and maps that serve the community’s vision related to housing, transportation, economic development, natural environment and land use that will guide growth and development over the next ten years,” Lauren Swain, Economic Development and Community Engagement Director, said. “The purpose of the open house is to share the draft meeting schedule, review progress made to community goals over the past 10 years, and to gather input from the public that will be used to prepare the 2028 Comprehensive Plan.”
To learn more about the plan, visit the city website. Anyone interested in participating in the planning process is invited to attend the workshop. Questions can be directed to Rob Pierce, Planning Director, at 302-424-8395 or via email.
