Milford City Council voted to accept Milford Ponds streets for Phase 1-9 and 1-10A into the city as those phases are now complete. According to Willis Shafer, Public Works Director, staff conducted all inspections of the utilities, curbs, signage and roadways within the city right-of-way and recommend final acceptance by council.
“The resolution includes the sanitary sewer main, water main, concrete curb and gutter signage, sewer system and roadways within the city’s right-of-way,” Shafer explained. “And to release the performance bond. The two sections comprise 82 lots. The city will take over Maritime Court, Central Park, Clubhouse Drive and Stitchwork Way.”
The resolution was opened for public comment and there was no one who spoke for or against the request.
Council approved the resolution with a vote of six to zero as Councilman Dan Marabello and Councilwoman Madula Kalesis were absent.
