We Are Milford Day is planned for Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Mispillion Elementary School at 311 Lovers Lane in Milford. The celebration is organized by Milford School District. The district is inviting families and community members to come together for a district-wide celebration highlighting the people, programs, and spirit that make Milford unique.
The free, family-friendly event is open to the entire community and designed to bring residents together for a day of connection, celebration, and fun.
Organizers say We Are Milford Day will showcase the heart of the Milford community through a wide range of activities and experiences. Attendees can expect student performances, art displays, and athletic demonstrations, along with interactive exhibits and opportunities to connect with local schools and community organizations.
In addition to educational and student-centered programming, We Are Milford Day will feature live entertainment, local vendors, and a variety of family-friendly attractions. Activities include face painting, bounce houses, sports exhibitions, and a “touch-a-truck” experience, as well as games and hands-on activities for children of all ages. Food vendors will also be on-site offering a selection of refreshments.
We Are Milford Day aims to highlight the many ways the district supports students both inside and outside the classroom while fostering a sense of unity across the broader community. District officials describe the event as an opportunity to celebrate not only student achievements but also the partnerships and connections that strengthen Milford as a whole.
The event continues a growing tradition of community engagement within the district, providing a welcoming environment for families to interact with educators, explore school programs, and celebrate local talent.
Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in what organizers hope will be a vibrant and memorable day filled with entertainment, community pride, and activities for all ages.
