The Milford School District announced the selection of Dr. Sean Todd Jr. as Assistant Principal of Milford High School. An accomplished educational leader with over a decade of K-12 experience in both urban and suburban school settings, Dr. Todd brings a strong background in instructional coaching, teacher development, student support, and school leadership. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to improving student outcomes through professional learning, data-informed decision-making, effective school operations, and meaningful partnerships with students, families, staff, and the community.
“Milford High School has a proud tradition of excellence and Buccaneer pride, and I am honored to become part of that legacy,” said Dr. Todd. “Education is about more than teaching content—it’s about inspiring others, opening doors of opportunity, and helping students realize their full potential. I look forward to partnering with our staff, families, and community to ensure every student is supported, challenged, and prepared for success beyond graduation.”
Dr. Todd joins Milford from the Dover Middle School of Excellence & Innovation, where he served as a Technology Instructional Coach. His professional background also includes teaching technology education, finance, and computer science at the high school level. He holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Liberty University, a Master of Education in Technology Education from the University of Delaware, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Delaware State University.
Inspired by his parents, both career educators, Dr. Todd developed a passion for education and a commitment to servant leadership, collaboration, and community engagement. He believes strong schools are built on meaningful relationships and a shared commitment to helping every student reach their full potential.
Outside of his work in education, Dr. Todd enjoys spending time with his wife and one-year-old son, serving in his church, and speaking at youth and leadership events. He is also the author of Defeating Mediocrity, a book that reflects his passion for leadership, personal growth, and intentional living.
Dr. Todd is expected to begin his new role later this month and looks forward to building relationships with students, staff, families, and the Milford community.
