Downtown Milford Inc. announced that vendor and sponsorship applications are now available for the remainder of events planned for 2026. The First Friday Back to School, First Friday Fiesta and Holiday Stroll applications can now be found online.
“We want to give vendors and sponsors as much time as possible to get their applications in for these events,” Executive Director Sade Truiett said. “We especially know how quickly vendors fill up for Holiday Stroll, so we highly recommend that applications be submitted now to be sure there is space.
The First Friday Back to School event will be held on Friday, September 4 from 5 to 8 PM on Walnut Street.
“This is a really exciting night for us as we will be giving away as many backpacks with school supplies as we can,” Truiett said. “We have sponsorship options that will allow sponsors to place their own branded items in the backpacks to get their company information out to even more people.”
The First Friday Fiesta is on October 2 from 5 to 8 PM and celebrates National Hispanic Month. It is one of the most popular and well-attended First Friday events of the year.
“Last year, the party kept going long after the actual event ended with dancing in local restaurants and people still enjoying downtown well into the night,” Truiett said. “The vendors for this event also fill quickly, so be sure to get your applications in!”
One of the most anticipated events of the year is the Holiday Stroll, which will be held December 5 from 3 to 8 PM.
“This year, we are hoping to add some really fun, new elements that will make downtown Milford look even more like a Hallmark movie,” Truiett said. “We are bringing back the live nativity scene this year and are hoping to have some new, unique holiday themed fun.”
