Connie Lee Dean of Harrington, DE passed away on May 4, 2026 at home with her family by her side. She was 72.
Connie grew up in Harrington, the daughter of the late Raymond and Marion Hopkins. She worked at Playtex in Dover for 25 years before having to go on disability. She loved outdoor activities like hunting and fishing. She also raised goats to sell for a period of time.
Connie was a devoted daughter and helped out her parents as they got older. She loved animals, especially dogs and turtles. She gave them a lot of love and care over the years.
Connie is survived by her brother Gene Hopkins, of Ohio; a sister Bonnie Blankenship and her husband Bruce, of Harrington and Mary Yearsley and her husband Billy of Felton; her niece Lisa Buckler of Farmington, who was her caregiver until she passed; and her loyal companion Bella.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Tina Dean, brothers John and Steve Hopkins, a sister Cindy Spence, and her niece Lori Wyatt, who was her caregiver for many years.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
