Milford Times is making it easier than ever for local residents, businesses, nonprofits, and organizations to connect with the community through the launch of its new online classified advertising service.
Beginning this week, advertisers can place classified ads anytime, day or night, through a secure online ordering system. The new platform allows customers to create their advertisement, select the appropriate category and ad size, upload photos or business logos, securely pay online, and receive an immediate confirmation email—all in just a few minutes.
“Our goal has always been to provide the Milford community with simple, affordable ways to share information,” said Terry Rogers, editor and publisher of Milford Times. “Whether you’re hiring employees, selling a vehicle, advertising a business, promoting a rental property, or announcing a community event, our new classified advertising system makes the process quick, convenient, and available 24 hours a day.”
The new classified section features advertisements in several categories, including Employment, Real Estate, Rentals, For Sale, Services, Community Announcements, Garage Sales, and Lost & Found.
Three advertising options are available to meet a variety of needs:
- Basic Classified – $25 per week: Ideal for garage sales, items for sale, wanted ads, and brief announcements.
- Business Classified – $50 per week: Perfect for employment opportunities, business promotions, and service providers. Advertisers may include a business logo or photo.
- Premium Showcase – $100 per week: Designed for real estate listings, featured businesses, and advertisements requiring additional space and a large image for maximum visibility.
Every classified advertisement submitted through Milford Times is reviewed by staff before publication to ensure it meets the publication’s advertising standards. Advertisers may also upload photos or logos directly through the online submission form, streamlining the process and eliminating the need to email artwork separately.
The addition of online classifieds represents another step in Milford Times’ ongoing effort to provide valuable local services while supporting independent community journalism. Since its launch, Milford Times has continued expanding its digital offerings to better serve readers and businesses throughout the greater Milford area.
