A 65-year-old Felton man died after a camel fell on him.
According to Delaware State Police, the camel belonged to the victim, and he was tending to him when the camel fell, resulting in fatal injuries to the man. The incident happened around 7 PM on Indian Point Road in Felton.
The victim’s identity has not been released, and officials have released no further details about the incident.
It is legal to own a camel in Delaware with a Department of Agriculture Exotic Animal Permit.
