Wayne Lee Ingram, 69, of Milford, Delaware, passed away on June 5, 2026 at Bayhealth Kent Campus. Wayne operated Roger Minner’s Wrecker Service for more than 50 years.
Born November 1, 1956, in Milford, Delaware, Wayne was the son of Frank Roland Ingram and Ruth Ann Minner, and was raised in part by his stepfather, Roger Minner, who played a central role in his life. He graduated from Milford Senior High School and Kent Vo-Tech.
Wayne was known for his strong work ethic, generous nature, and sense of humor, and he took great pride in his family, often sharing stories about his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis Ann Ingram; his children, Lisa Ingram Peel (Jason) and Wayne Lee Ingram Jr. (Linsey); grandchildren Trevor, Bryce, Haley, Owen, Ellie, and Spencer; his brother Frank Roland Ingram Jr. (Margaret); his sister-in-law Cindy Ingram and his nieces and nephews Michelle Decker (Darren), Kristine Ingram, Brandon Jump, Emily Pedrotti (Tony), Jared Ingram (Skye) and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, and his brother Gary Lewis Ingram.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 12 at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Milford Church of the Nazarene 11 Salevan Place, Milford with services to follow at 1 p.m, followed by burial in Slaughter Neck Cemetery, Argo’s Corner, Milford.
