Paula Sue Xenos passed away on May 7 at the age of 73. Her nursing career spanned several facilities.
Born February 7, 1953, Paula was fiercely proud that she was a Registered Nurse. She worked at Beebe Hospital and Harbor Healthcare in Lewes before moving to the Delaware Veteran’s Home in Milford where she retired.
In her spare time, Paula loved sewing and crocheting, playing Zelda and MonopolyGO, baking with her grandchildren and spending time with her friends and family. She was firey and fierce with strength and love that defined her, anchoring her family.
Paula is survived by her children, Cheryl Pioli and her husband, Dave; Amy Bates and her husband Dave; Shannon Taylor and her husband Travis; Tabitha Bohenko and her husband, Trevor. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jessica, Ashley, Alyson, Emily, Stephanie, Angela, Gabriel, Xavier, Mackenzie, Juliet and Fiona along with great-grandchildren Taralynn, Stella, Brayden, Maddison, Sage, Liam, Jesse, Calliope, Daxton, River, Iris, Trinity, Dylan and Jordan. Her brother, Ronald Easley, also survives her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Neil Xenos, her only son, Lee DiGati and her parents.
Services will be held June 13 with visitation beginning at 11 AM and a funeral service at Noon at Epworth United Methodist Church, 1 6th Street, Rehoboth Beach.
