Bayhealth Medical Group has expanded its women’s health services in Sussex County with the addition of Dr. Bryon Jacoby, a board-certified maternal fetal medicine specialist who brings more than two decades of experience caring for patients with high-risk pregnancies.
Jacoby joins Bayhealth Maternal Fetal Medicine at the Bayhealth Sussex Campus in Milford, where he will provide specialized care in obstetrics, prenatal diagnostics, and advanced ultrasound services. He is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Born in Delaware and spending part of his childhood in Dover, Jacoby returns to his home state after training and practicing in Massachusetts, California, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
“Dr. Jacoby’s depth of clinical experience and dedication to evidence-based care will be a tremendous asset to our patients and our obstetric care teams,” said Dina Perry, MBA, Bayhealth vice president of physician services operations. “His expertise supports our ongoing commitment to expanding access to advanced women’s health services, ensuring patients receive high-quality, coordinated care close to home.”
Jacoby earned his medical degree from MCP-Hahnemann School of Medicine, now part of Drexel University. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Baystate Medical Center and later completed a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at the University of California, Davis. During his career, he also served as an assistant professor and division director at UC Davis.
In addition to his clinical practice, Jacoby has an extensive background in academic medicine and research. He holds a Master of Science degree in infectious disease epidemiology from Harvard University.
