Bayhealth Family Medicine in Dover will offer free spots physicals on Saturday, July 25 from 8 AM to Noon. Registration is required and appointments are limited.
The event reflects Bayhealth’s commitment to provide access to care and strengthen the health of the community. Residents and attending physicians from Bayhealth’s Graduate Medical Education Family Medicine Residency Program will be providing the free physicals. Physicians in the practice provide primary care for the whole family, including pregnant women, infants to those 65 and older as well as patients with mental health needs.
Bayhealth knows that starting a sport healthy and strong is vital to the success of an athlete. This is equally important to maintain a healthy body and mind throughout the season.
To participate in Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) sports, student-athletes must pass an annual Preparticipation Physical Examination (PPE) using official DIAA forms. The physical must be dated on or after April 1, 2026, and is valid for the entire 2026-2027 school year.Even if an athlete has a physical during the winter, a new PPE must be completed after April for the next school year. Athletes must provide a complete health history and physical examination form. The medical card and physical must be signed by a licensed Primary Care Practitioner.
Milford School District athletics now use the Rank One digital platform for all physical submissions.
Physicals will be offered at 1074 South State Street in Dover. Parents can register children online.
