Milton Public Library will hold a Christmas concert on December 16 at 4:30 PM. The concert will feature Vincent Varrassi, a piano and vocal soloist who focuses on American classics.
“Bringing his New York City music flair for piano and focal performances, local showman Vincent Varrassi will wow you with festive holiday classics,” a library spokesperson said.
Varrassi began performing on piano when he was 16 years old and, in the late 1970s, expanded from small combos to leading “A Touch of Class.” The ensemble toured New York and northern New Jersey until he relocated to Sussex County.
After moving to Delaware, Varrassi continued his career as a learning specialist, helping students in high school as well as college with learning disabilities such as ADHD and Asperger syndrome.
Varrassi plays music from the Great American Songbook, jazz, standards and popular hits. The Great American Songbook includes standards from classic musicals and jazz eras.
The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library. Registration is required and can be completed online or by calling 302-855-1975.
