A GoFundMe has been set up by the family to assist with end-of-life expenses.
“My mom, Linda, has been fighting stage 4 uterine cancer for almost three years now,” her daughter wrote on the GoFundMe page. Linda taught music for 43 years, touching the lives of many students and even continued to teach through most of her cancer journey. Unfortunately, due to the continued development of the cancer, she has had to retire this year despite her wishes. Due to her retiring, my father and I have been struggling to afford both the medical and various household bills while we give her full-time support and care.”
The GoFundMe has raised $3,270 of the $8,000 needed. To donate to assist Evans’ family, visit the GoFundMe link by clicking here.
