First State Military Academy (FSMA) is set to welcome prospective students and their families to its school-wide open house on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 9:00 AM. This event offers a unique opportunity for current 8th, 9th, and 10th graders interested in applying for the upcoming school year to explore the campus and meet key members of the FSMA community.
“Open houses are a fantastic way for families to get a feel for the academy,” said Principal Blair Newman. “We encourage all prospective students to come meet our dedicated faculty, staff, and coaches, and see firsthand what our school has to offer.”
During the open house, attendees will have the chance to tour the facilities, interact with current students, and gain insights into the academy’s programs. While pre-registration is encouraged, it is not mandatory. Families planning to attend can scan the provided QR code for registration. For those unable to attend on November 15, FSMA has indicated that additional open house dates will be available, as noted in the event flyer.
First State Military Academy is known as a choice school, with the application period running from November 3, 2025, to January 14, 2026. Interested families can complete their applications online at SchoolChoiceDE.org.
“We’ll have staff available during the open house to assist families with the application process,” Newman added.
For more details about the open house or the admissions process, interested parties can reach out to Blair Newman at (302) 223-2150 or via email at [email protected]. More information can also be found on the academy’s website at FSMilitary.org.
“FSMA has established itself as the school of choice for families in Delaware,” said Newman. “We pride ourselves on fostering a positive school culture that emphasizes daily structure, discipline, and character development. We look forward to showing families what makes First State Military Academy the right choice for their children.”
