Every October, Bayhealth Cancer Institute has “gone pink” in an effort to raise awareness for breast cancer testing, treatment and recovery. This year, Bayhealth has announced the theme will be “Go Pink, Grow Hope.”
“Thanks to the unwavering support of the community, over 2,500 individuals have received lifesaving screenings, education and treatment they may not have otherwise had access to,” Bayhealth reported. “With remarkable advancements in treatment and the increase in early detection, a breast cancer diagnosis today comes with more hope than ever before, especially when care is within reach for everyone.”
Bayhealth launched the 2025 Go Pink! T-Shirt which features a design that captures the powerful sentiment of hope for a bright future after a breast cancer diagnosis. Proceeds from each shirt will be shared with Bayhealth’s Go Pink! Partner, Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. All funds are used to directly support free breast health services such as screenings, education programs and patient support.
“When you wear this shirt, you’re doing more than showing support, you’re helping women in our community access the care they deserve,” Executive Director, Bayhealth Cancer Institute and Senior Director Oncology Service line John Shevock, FACHE, FACMPE, said. “Every purchase spreads awareness, fuels progress and grows hope. It’s a simple act that keeps our mission – and our momentum – alive.”
Anyone interested can purchase a shirt at both Bayhealth Community Pharmacies where cash only is accepted. They can also be purchased online by visiting here.
“Wear yours proudly this October,” Shevock said. “Because when we go pink, we grow hope.”
