Laura Ann Davis of Milford passed away peacefully on October 26, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was 80.
Laura was born September 5, 1946, in Milford, the daughter of the late Ruth Ada and Phillip Torbert. Laura spent her life surrounded by the people and community she loved.
Family meant everything to Laura above all else and she was truly the heart of her family. She was the one who brought everyone together and held a special place in the lives of those who knew and loved her. Her love, memories and presence will forever remain in the hearts of her family.
Laura had a love for Elvis Presley and enjoyed spending time at the casino. These little things, along with the countless memories she made with her family, will always be remembered and cherished.
She leaves behind seven beloved children:Â Ruth Ann, Phillip, Woody, Wanda, Frank (Traci), Carl, and Kenny (Cathie). She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren: Brian Sr. (Jennifer), Brandy, Bruce, Phillip (Hailey), Charles, Laura Lee, Lorin (Chad), Taylor, Ashlynn, Carlee, Kenny, Brianna, Tyler (Sierra) and Chase.
In addition, Laura’s legacy lives on through her 24 great-grandchildren: Brittany (Elliott), Jenna, Brian Jr., Kamree, Brandon, Robbie, Landon, Bryson, Natalie, Bentley, Effie, Elwood, Haiden, Martin, Kaleb, Karter, Bishop, Camden, Callan, Zakai, Konnor, Kassidy, Lawsyn and Aria, along with her five great-great-grandchildren: Kasen, Colton, Knox, Josani and Javon.
