Living Well Nutrition, located in the Riverwalk Shopping Center, celebrated their one-year anniversary with a two-day celebration on October 9 and 10. The event kicked off with a ribbon cutting sponsored by Downtown Milford, Inc.
“We are here today to celebrate the first anniversary of Living Well Nutrition,” Terry Rogers, President of Downtown Milford Inc., said. “We are excited to have them here and we are doing well and thriving in our city.”
After a blessing, Stephanie Kearns thanked everyone for their support.
“I just want to thank everybody because without your support and the support of many more, I wouldn’t be here,” Kearns said. “I came to Milford, I am from Dover, born and raised in Dover. I know some people in Milford, so this wasn’t my “home-home.” I still travel from Dover every day, but we built such a community here. Milford has been so welcoming, and I am just so grateful for everyone who has walked through that door and walked through again and again. When they have time to come and just sit and connect, that’s just the bigger part of my day. I just appreciate every person who has made Living Well what it is today.”
Living Well’s mission is to create a welcoming, supportive community where health, wellness and personal growth are accessible to everyone. They believe in more than just products. They believe in people.
“We absolutely love Living Well Nutrition,” Charity Renee Brown said. “Their shakes are absolutely amazing and delicious. They also have blondie protein bars that are so good. Stephanie always has a smile on her face every single time you walk through her doors.”
Jaymin Gilbert agreed.
“I have had more than one day where walking in I was tired from waking up so early,” gilbert said. “But walking out I was refreshed and energized. The atmosphere is fresh, full of life and super inviting. The owner, Steph, is a blessing and so are the shakes and teas since I am a huge candy/sweets consumer, so this is a much healthier alternative. This place is great, one to go to if you like a home-like cozy atmosphere, healthy protein shakes that taste like dessert, and energy teas that give you a more natural boost for the day than a normal coffee. I also like to just chill and chat or doodle in my sketchbook and this place has the perfect vibe for it.”
