Kent-Sussex Industries (KSI) recognized a staff member and a participant for outstanding service during the Third Quarter of 2026. Chris Smith was chosen as Participant of the Quarter and Will Ishmael as Staff of the Quarter.
Smith was a dedicated member of the Procter & Gamble crew for more than a decade and continually improved his job during that time. He continued to learn new parts of the multi-pack operations at P&G, including pallet jacket product. Smith was also able to transfer the computer training he gained at KSI’s Milford Skill Development Center on is days off from P&G and learned to scan job tickets into P&G’s tracking system.
“He’s working to grow his communication skills, supporting a safe work environment and strengthening his connections across his team,” Mark Reeve, Director of Communications said. “Chris is the person everyone loves to work with for his kindness and teamwork. His personality is warm and he always has a positive attitude, helping to create a productive consistency in his workplace. Chris is a remarkable individual doing more with his abilities each day to create a better life.”
Ishmael was highlighted for his personalized attention and care for KSI’s program participants that goes well beyond his basic duties of transporting individuals between home and life enhancing opportunities. The designation qualifies Ishamel for a chance to be recognized as Staff of the Year which is presented at the KSI annual dinner planned for July 9, 2026.
“Will has a huge heart for our participants,” Jessy Adams, KSI Southern Campus Program Director said. “He makes sure they feel well cared for, supported and valued. His positive attitude, constant smile and genuine laughter create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone.”
