Milford Pop Warner recently announced that registrations were open for the upcoming season. Registrations are for tackle football as well as sideline and competitive cheerleading for children 5 through 12.
The cost to register before April 30 is $175 per athlete. Through May 31, the cost is $200 and through June 30 the cost is $250. There is a $25 sibling discount as well. The organization is offering in-person registration options as well. There will be a registration table at the Bug and Bud Festival on April 25, at the Milford Pop Warner Spaghetti Dinner on May 20 and Get Fit Day on June 26. Fundraising and payment options are available to assist with registration costs.
“At this time, we do not have a game schedule yet,” a social media post about registration read. “All schedules for games, practices and competitions will be shared as soon as we get that information.”
The post did share practice information. For football and cheer, practices typically run from 6:00 to 8:30 PM Monday through Thursday from July 15 thorugh September 1. Once the school year starts, practices shift to Tuesday-Thursday from 6 to 8 PM. Six and under Mitey Mite Cheer ends at 7:30 PM during the school year.
For cheerleaders aged three and four, practice is limited to three hours per week. That schedule will be released as soon as it is compiled.
Coaching opportunities are also available. Those interested can submit Letters of Intent for Head or Assistant Coach positions for the upcoming season. The letter should include whether the applicant is seeking a head or assistant coach position, whether they are interested in coaching cheer or football and relevant experience. The deadline to submit is April 30, 2026, and the letter can be sent via email.
