An Easter Egg Hunt at Wolfe House will welcome families from across Sussex County this Sunday, March 22, as the Sussex County Land Trust hosts its inaugural spring celebration at the historic Wolfe House property in Rehoboth Beach.
The free, family-friendly event begins at 2 p.m. at 36070 Wolfe Neck Road, offering children the opportunity to search for colorful eggs across the scenic grounds while families enjoy the outdoors and connect with the community. The Easter Bunny will also make a special appearance for photos and visits with children.
Advance registration is required to attend, allowing organizers to prepare for participants. Families can sign up online. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for check-in ahead of the egg hunt, which will begin promptly at 2:15 p.m.
The event is part of the Sussex County Land Trust’s 25th Anniversary celebration, marking a quarter-century of preserving natural, agricultural, and historic lands throughout Sussex County. The Wolfe House property provides a picturesque backdrop for seasonal events and community gatherings.
The Land Trust also announced upcoming events later this year, including a July 2 drone light show as part of Delaware’s 250th anniversary celebrations and the return of the Dogfish Dash on Sept. 27, with sponsorship opportunities to be announced.
