Eugene R. Brown, 71, of Milford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Gene was born in Milford, DE the son of the late Franklin and Ivamae (Parks) Brown. He was a graduate of Lake Forest High School, Class of 1972. Gene worked as a packager for Baltimore Air Coil in Milford. He also worked for Willliam V. Sipple and Son Monument Company for many years. Gene enjoyed bowling, deer hunting and watching TV. He was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge # 534. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Helen (Lindale) Brown and their beloved dog Toby.
He is survived by his special niece and caregiver Anna Biddle Nordberg; a special family friend Mike Banning; as well as 2 brothers; 4 sisters; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Celebration of Gene’s Life will be held at 7 pm on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where friends may call from 6:30 to 7:00 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DEÂ 19963.
