Downtown Milford Inc. announced this week that applications were open for vendors as well as sponsors for the annual Bug and Bud Festival. The festival will be held on Saturday, April 25 from 9 AM to 4 PM in downtown Milford.
“This festival celebrates all things spring,” Sade Truiett, Coordinator at Downtown Milford, said. “We are expanding the festival this year and are looking for more vendors.”
The Bug and Bud Festival celebrates the ladybug, Delaware’s state bug which was established thanks to a second-grade class at Lulu Ross Elementary School. Ladybugs abound that day in Milford.
There are various sponsorship levels offering businesses an opportunity to not only get their name out, but to support one of the first festivals held in Milford.“This year we are also offering different vendor prices,” Truiett said. “We have a new category for home craftsmen, those who create one-of-a-kind items at home. As a reminder, every business in the Downtown Milford Inc. footprint gets a free vendor space at the festival. Just fill out the vendor application and choose the “Non-Profit/Downtown Business” category.”
