Owned by Marcia Reed, the gallery was something she had dreamed of while she was teaching as a second career after retirement. She reconnected with her high school sweetheart, Dave Pickrell, now her husband, who worked in Newark, after 37 years. Reed said in an interview in 2022 that real estate agents were pushing her to the beach area. Pickrell called her after finding a location in Milford and she fell in love the first time she visited.
Known as “A Destination for Artful Living,” Gallery 37 is located at 8 South Walnut Street. Their hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 4 PM. The gallery is open by appointment at other times by calling 302-265-2318.
