Although known for the events they sponsor to promote downtown, Downtown Milford Inc. goes a step farther to recognize the River Town, Art Town, Home Town they support. They now have “The Milford Store,” offering merchandise that not only supports their efforts, but allows those on your gift list to sport some hometown pride. Shirts, including tanks, short- and long-sleeve tees, hoodies, hats and beanies are available.
Not only do they have clothing, they have a supply of wine glasses, pint glasses, ornaments and Christmas cards. Looking for cute stocking stuffers? Grab a sticker or two, promoting the dog park, downtown and the 19963. They also have items to highlight the Farmer’s Market, the oldest continually running market in the state.
Downtown Milford Inc. began in 1993 as the Downtown Revitalization Committee with a goal to bring back vibrancy to historic downtown Milford. They are an accredited Main Street organization, one of only four in the state. Incorporated in 1995, Downtown Milford Inc. supports Milford In Bloom, the Farmer’s Market, the Santa House and more.
Their office is located at 17 North Walnut Street. They are open Tuesday through Friday, Noon to 4 PM.
