Milford man arrested for 5th DUI

Maruice Finney, 36, was arrested for his fifth offense DUI felon along with other traffic offenses. Finney was arrested March 7 at around 1:35 AM.

A trooper witnessed a Chevrolet Traverse weaving left and right while driving northbound on Coastal Highway near Postal Lane in Lewes. After an additional traffic violation, the vehicle was pulled over and the trooper recognized signs of impairment. Standardized field sobriety tests were administered which led to Finney’s arrest.

He was taken to Troop 7 where he was charged with felony DUI, driving while suspended or revoked and speeding. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $6,101 cash bond.
