
Delaware State Police arrested Joshua Vickers, 38, of Dagsboro for aggravated menacing and felony gun charges following a road rage incident on Coastal Highway near Milton on August 21.
At approximately 5:57 PM, troopers responded to Eagles Crest Road near Coastal Highway after receiving a report of a road rage incident with a firearm. Upon arrival, they learned the victim was traveling northbound on Coastal Highway near Eagles Crest Road when they were involved in a road rage altercation. A man in a white Honda Pilot yelled and allegedly pointed a firearm at the victim during the incident. Troopers later located he white Honda at Hudson Fields. He was detained without incident.
A 9mm handgun was found in the glove compartment. Police also discovered a 12-gauge shotgun and two .22 caliber rifles in the vehicle. Vickers was taken to Troop 7 where he was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, aggravated menacing and overtaking or passing on the right.
Vickers was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on $30,100 unsecured bond.
