A Small Business Walking Tour of Milford, sponsored by Downtown Milford Inc, AMFM Healthcare, SpurImpact, Connecting Stories and Emerging Young Professionals, is planned for Saturday, August 9 from 9 to 10:30 AM. The purpose of the tour is to highlight the many new and exciting businesses opening in Milford’s downtown.
The tour will begin at Overgrown, a new, eclectic plant shop located at 107 North Walnut Street, where participants will talk to owners Dalton Carter and Gage Ferriera. The two men opened the shop after finding that growing plants was an enjoyable hobby. Parking is available in the public lot across the street from Overgrown or in the public lot next door.
The tour will then visit fondue where participants will hear from owner Zack King about their unique, four-course fondue experience and craft cocktails. Stone and Sage is next on the tour where Cat Perfetti and her staff will talk about their metaphysical supply store.
After visiting Stone and Sage, the tour will head to The Farmacy Market, a fresh food market designed to provide healthier options. Patrick and Chantel Helmick will talk about how fresh food became critical in their lives due to health reasons, leading them to open the market.

The final stop on the tour will be My Sister’s Fault, a popular Puerto Rican restaurant and bakery owned by Rous and Angie Robles. The sisters will talk about how they got started and the challenges they face even today running a busy establishment in Milford as well as a new location in Seaford.
The tour will last about an hour and a half. Be sure to wear walking shoes and bring a bottle of water. There is no fee to join the tour but reservations are recommended. Register by visiting the Eventbrite link.
