Delaware State Police identified Nolin Hudson of Greenwood as the 21-year-old who died in a single-vehicle accident last week. Hudson was a graduate of Milford High School.
According to Hudson’s obituary, Hudson began his career as a lineman for U.L.C.S. and was working toward his journeyman’s license at the time of his death. He traveled the East Coast assisting with storm repair after hurricanes and storms.
Hudson enjoyed fishing, duck and deer hunting, baseball, playing softball for the Milford Church of God, playing golf and all kinds of racing. His favorite locations were at the beach and near the water. A devout Christian, Hudson was baptized on February 2, 2025, and was an active member in his church. Hudson had a special bond with his brother, Kadin, and was always there for his family.
Hudson is survived by his mother, Bobbi Jo Sapp; his father and stepmother, Shawn and Cindy Hudson; his stepfather, Donovan Hoyt, his brother, Kadin Hudson; a stepbrother, Layne Hoyt; his maternal grandparents Robert and Carol Sapp, who he called “Nanny and Pap,” his paternal grandfather Harvey Hudson Sr.; his aunt and uncle Harvey Hudson, Jr. and his wife Paula as well as Nick Sapp and his wife, Jessie; his cousins, Trey, Cheyanne, Addison and Ryenn. He is also survived by the love of his life, Gracie Fetterman. Hudson was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Joan Schiable.
Services were held for Hudson on Saturday, July 12 at the Milford Church of God and burial was in the Milford Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations to the Milford Church of God, 500 North Walnut Street, Milford DE 19963.
