Milford man arrested on drug charges

Milford Police Department executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Northwest 4th Street on February 5, resulting in the arrest of Taevon Potts 29, of Milford. The search warrant was the result of an investigation into the sale of illicit drugs in the city.

The warrant was executed through the Milford Police Department Special Operations Group and K9 unit. Over 12 grams of suspected heroin, about 410 doses, were seized. Potts was charged with manufacture, deliver and PWID controlled substance tier 3 quantity, possession of a controlled substance tier 3 quantity and had a presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court 2.

Potts was committed to the Department of Correction with a $50,000 cash bond.
