Tractor Supply announced that they would hold Hometown Heroes Day on Saturday, November 7 starting at 10 AM. The event will be held at all Tractor Supply locations in Delaware.
“As the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, we want to celebrate local police, firefighters, veterans and active military service members,” Trinity Zapotocky, Account Coordinator, said. “Hometown Heroes will receive a 10 percent discount if they are registered and verified through Tractor Supply’s Neighbors Club.”
Zapotocky explained that veterans, police, firefighters and military members could sign up for the Tractor Supply Neighbors Club online.
“Community members are invited to visit their local Tractor Supply for touch-a-truck opportunities with local first responders and a “Thank a Hero” letter writing,” Zapotocky said. “Each participating store will also present a donation to a local military, veteran or first responder organization of their choice.”
In Delaware, the organizations receiving donations include the Town of Wyoming, Seaford Volunteer Fire Department Inc., Sgt. William Lloyd Nelson Post 3792, Milford PD K9 Unit, Town of Smyrna, Millsboro Fire Company Inc. and The Greater Lewes Foundation.
