Delaware small business owners interested in applying for the fall 2026 EDGE Grant Competition have until 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, to submit their applications.
The EDGE — Encouraging Development, Growth and Expansion — program provides competitive funding to early-stage Delaware businesses. The fall competition includes up to $400,000 for Entrepreneur category awards and $750,000 for STEM businesses, with as many as 18 potential awardees.
Eligible businesses generally must be primarily located in Delaware, have been in business for fewer than seven years, employ 15 or fewer full-time employees and have less than $700,000 in assets. Funding requires a 3-to-1 state-to-business match.
Grant funds may be used for eligible growth expenses including equipment, advertising, website design, market analysis and building improvements.
Applications and program materials are available through the Delaware Division of Small Business EDGE program website.
