Ward 2 voters in the upcoming Milford City Council election had five options to choose from when candidates were announced in February. Kim Wills, Marianina “Nina” Pletcher, Ron Mescola, Desirey Anderson and Michael Price Sr. all filed to run for the seat which will be vacated in May as sitting councilwoman Lori Connor did not file to run. The election will be held Saturday, April 25 from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Price Sr. has officially withdrawn from the city of Milford Ward 2 election race to focus on personal matters,” the announcement read. “We want to thank him for the hard work put into the campaign and for the passion shown for our community. The only other contested race is for Ward 4 with Dawn Tomczak challenging sitting councilwoman Katrina Wilson. Mayor F. Todd Culotta and Ward 1 councilwoman Madula Kalesis are running unopposed.
