Lulu M. Ross Elementary School now has a new assistant principal after Alicia Streett was appointed last month. She will be replacing Kimberly Webb who moved into the principal role. Streett has served in education for almost two decades with a strong focus on special education.
“Since 2016, Alicia has served as the Special Education Coordinator at Ross, supporting students, families and the staff through instructional leadership, behavioral interventions and IEP compliance,” Trish Gerken, Public Information Officer, said. “Prior to joining Milford, she worked at William Penn High School as both a special education coordinator and teacher.”
Streett recently chaired the Activities Committee for We Are Milford Day, helping to create a successful and memorable event for the entire community. Gerken stated that Street earned her master’s in school leadership from Wilmington University, a master’s in teaching and a bachelor’s in business administration from Wesley College.
