

Andre Mullen, 53, of Ellendale, was arrested during a search warrant on August 11. The search warrant was executed by the Sussex County Drug Unit, Sussex County Governor’s Task Force and Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team.
According to police, the warrant was executed in the 13000 block of South Old State Road and was obtained following an investigation into Mullen’s alleged distribution of illegal narcotics from the residence. In addition to Mullen, three others were detained in the residence but released.
A search of the property found crack cocaine, powder cocaine, buprenorphine and sublingual films, digital scales, drug paraphernalia and $793 in suspected drug proceeds.
Mullen was taken to Troop 4 where he was charged with possession to deliver a controlled substance Tiers 2 and 3; possession of a controlled substance, Tiers 1, 2 and 3; unlawful to knowingly operate or attempt to operate a clandestine laboratory and possession of drug paraphernalia.
After arraignment by Justice of the Peace Court 2, Mullen was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $178,200 cash bond.
