EasySpeak Brewpub and Spirits will be the site of a Pirate Party designed to benefit the Milford Senior Center. The event is planned for August 7 from 5 to 9 PM with 15 percent of all food and drink sales that evening going to the senior center.
“You don’t need to purchase tickets, just go to EasySpeak that evening to enjoy a meal or cocktails between 5 and 9 PM,” Amy Waltz, Executive Director of the senior center said. “We are encouraging everyone to come out in their best pirate gear as a fun way to support us. These types of events are mutually beneficial as we raise money for our organization while supporting a local business.”
The event will include live music, a 50/50 raffle as well as a raffle for a Pirate’s Booty Basket. Waltz pointed out that the restaurant may be crowded so asked for patience.
“We are looking forward to seeing a large crowd at the event,” Waltz said. “We do ask everyone to be patient and understand that there may be a brief wait for seating during this time.”
Costumes are encouraged but not required to attend the event and donations will be accepted as well. All donations go toward the mission of the Milford Senior to provide the best possible services, programs and experiences to seniors in Milford and the surrounding area.
EasySpeak is located at 586 Milford Harrington Highway in Milford. For more information on the Milford Senior Center, visit them online.
