Milford School District will accept nominations for Teacher of the Year, Behavioral Health Professional of the Yeaer and Educational Support Professional of the Year until January 15, 2026.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the outstanding individuals who make Milford School District such a special place to work and learn,” Trish Gerken, Public Information Officer, said. “We encourage you to take a moment to think of a colleague who exemplifies what it means to be a true Buccaneer. Think of someone who demonstrates excellence in their role not only within their building, but also in support of our district, our families and our community. These awards allow us to highlight and celebrate the dedication, compassion and excellence demonstared every day by our staff.”
In order for a teacher be be nominated, they must be current certified classroom teacher. Educational Support Professionals include paraprofessionals, custodians, maintenance, secretaries, child nutrition, transportation, public information, interventionists, social workers, school psychologists and nurses. Behavioral Health specialists include school counselors, social workers, school psychologists nad nurses.
