Milford Police Department released the name of the pedestrian who died in a crash on January 19. According to police, the victim was Marie Therese Santilma, 81, of Magnolia.
At approximately 6:30 AM, a 2024 BMW X3 was traveling northbound on North Rehoboth Boulevard near Perdue Farms when, for an unknown reason, Santilma stepped into the northbound lane where she was struck by the vehicle.
Despite life saving measures at the scene, Santilma was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
