Milford Police Department arrested Reginald D. Wright-McGlotten, Jr., 18, of Ellendale for gun violations stemming from an incident at People’s Place. The incident occurred on September 17, 2025.
According to police, they responded to the location on Airport Road after receiving a call that a man attending a diversionary class at the facility possessed a firearm. Officers learned that the subject discarded the handgun in a trashcan in the meeting room and they recovered the weapon. While taking Wright-McGlotten into custody, he resisted arrest but was ultimately taken into custody.
Wright-McGlotten was charged with possession, purchase, control of a firearm by a person under 21; possession, purchase, control of ammunition by a person under 21; possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony; possession, purchase, own or control of a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited; carrying a concealed deadly weapon; resisting arrest and tampering with physical evidence – evidence suppression.
Wright-McGlotten had presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court where he was committed to the Department of Correction on a $104,000 cash bond. He will appear in Kent County Court of Common Pleas for a preliminary hearing at a later date.
