Milford welcomes ChristianaCare

Milford welcomed a new primary care practice when ChristianaCare Primary Care at Milford opened in February. Dr. Chinwe Ike-Chinwo will lead the practice bringing board-certified knowledge with a. special interest in preventive medicine. Ike-Chinwo is passionate about building long-term personal relationships to her patients in the new practice.

“I am excited to serve the Milford community and help individuals achieve their best health,” Ike-Chinwo said in a recent press release.” Through prevention, chronic disease management and wellness care, we aim to support our patients in leading healthier, more fulfilling lives.”

In addition to primary care services, the office will offer the My65+ program starting in April 2025. With the addition of Dr. Thinesh Sivapatham, the practice will also offer neurointerventional care. Sivapatham s a fellowship-trained neurointerventional surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive techniques to treat conditions affecting the blood vessels of the head, neck and spine. His specialties include treating strokes and aneurysms.

“Neurointerventional surgery is a highly specialized field that is often only found in larger metropolitan areas,” Sivapatham said in a press release. ‘I look forward to working closely with patients to ensure they receive the same high-quality care right here in Sussex County.”

The new practice is located in Halpern Plaza at 701 North Dupont Boulevard, Milford. To schedule an appointment, call 302-725-3420.
