Milford School District announced appointments of two new members to their leadership team. Dr. Bobbie Kilgore will now serve as the Director of Student Learning, replacing Dr. Kelly Carvejal Hageman who recently left the position and Ashleigh Ling who will serve as Supervisor of Child Nutrition, replacing Laura Schneider Bond who recently moved into the Director of Human Resources position.
Kilgore brings over 25 years of experience in education, including roles as Supervisor of Instruction, Principal, Assistant Principal Supervisor of Academic Services and teacher. Her new role will focus on supporting curriculum alignment, instructional practices and professional learning across all grade levels. She will work closely with staff and school leaders to align instructional systems and support ongoing professional growth across the district.
Kilgore holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Delaware and is certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from Randolph-Macon College and a Master of Education in Elementary studies from Wilmington College.
Ling, a registered dietitian has been with Milford School District since 2022, most recently serving as Nutrition Specialist. She holds a bachelor’s in Dietetics from the University of Delaware and brings experience in both child and adult nutrition programming.
Ling will continue to lead efforts to ensure all students have access to healthy meals in compliance with state and federal guidelines while supporting kitchen staff and building community partnerships.
