Milford Police Department responded to reports of shots fired just after 11 AM on June 19 in the 200 block of Valley Drive in Milford. Upon arrival, they discovered a 22-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment where he was listed in critical condition.
This is the second shooting incident in the area as a man was injured in Slaughter Beach earlier in the week when gunmen opened fire at a gathering at the Slaughter Beach pavilion. The victim was treated for wounds and released. That shooting is being investigated by Delaware State Police.
