Milford High School Hosts First Annual Entrepreneurship Round Table Event High School proudly hosted its First Annual Entrepreneurship Round Table Event, an exciting new initiative designed and executed by MHS accounting and finance teacher Leah Dodds. The event brought together students and local small business owners for a day of meaningful dialogue, insight, and real-world learning.Dodds created the event as an opportunity for her finance students to engage directly with entrepreneurs by conducting interviews and exploring the day-to-day realities of owning and operating a business. The result was a dynamic exchange that inspired both students and professionals alike.
Students had an incredible time learning from real entrepreneurs. Student had the opportunity to ask insightful questions and left the event with a deeper understanding of finance, business ownership, and the importance of local enterprise.
Entrepreneurs reflected on how thoughtful, intelligent, and curious the Milford students were throughout the experience. Many noted how refreshing it was to see such strong interest from the next generation of business leaders.
