After purchasing the former Marvel Building on North Walnut Street in Milford, Craig Aleman moved his growing law firm, Aleman Associates from Southwest Front Street to the newly remodeled building. The new office, now known as Trinity Executive Center, allows the firm to expand their services with the addition of new staff. One of their newest members is Adam Crouse, Esquire.
“One of my focuses is to assist families with estate planning,” Crouse said. “Whether it is creating a will so that their final wishes are met, securing assets for distribution after death, administering an estate after a loved one passes or creating trusts to be sure loved ones are taken care of long after someone passes, it is my goal to be sure your wishes are met.”
According to Crouse, even a simple estate can become complicated.
“Although the law does allow you to write your own will, the language used should meet certain requirements,” Crouse said. “Vague language or incomplete provisions in your will could lead to disputes, even among the closest of families. You want to be sure that when the will was signed, the person was of sound mind and not under any undue influence to make changes that were out of character.”
Crouse, born and raised in Seaford, graduated from Seaford High School, earning a bachelor’s degree in information systems and decision sciences from Salisbury University. In 2020, he became a legal research assistant as he worked toward earning his law degree from Delaware Law School. Once he was admitted to the bar, Crouse began focusing on estate planning and real estate.
“I understand the complex and emotionally charged issues a client faces, not only in planning their own future, but their legacy after they pass,” Crouse said. “Talking about what happens after someone’s death is difficult, but it is a necessary discussion to be sure wishes are met and those left behind are taken care of.”
When not assisting others with their legacy, Crouse enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family. He can often be found spending time on the beach during his free time.
