Terrance Sylvester Neal Sr., a devoted servant of God, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and creative visionary, passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 59.
Born on October 8, 1966, he was the cherished son of Maggielean Neal and William Herring. Neal graduated from Milford Senior High School in 1984 and soon after answered the call to serve his country. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1986 to 1989 spending most of that time in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Upon returning home, he began his professional career at Eagle Group in Clayton, De., where he worked from 1990 to 2005, resigning from his position as a Design Engineer to fully pursue his calling into ministry.
While singing with the Delaware Gospel Quintets with Harry Crapper, an invitation to the Philadelphia Pentecostal Holiness Church (PPHC) was instrumental in leading him to baptism. In 2000, Neal was baptized at the PPHC under the leadership of Dr. Bishop Major Foster. This marked a powerful turning point in his life. By 2005, he had committed himself to full-time ministry. He earned his Bachelor of Theology and served faithfully in his roles as a Praise and Worship Leader, Program Director, Vision Of Faith Ministry Broadcast Editor, Church Administrator, Sunday School Teacher, Bible College Instructor, Deacon, and Elder.
In every role, he exemplified humility, leadership, and a deep love for the Word of God. He was a source of strength, wisdom, and inspiration within the church community and beyond. Neal also had a lifelong love of photography; a passion sparked at an early age that he pursued professionally starting in 2015. Leading him along with Keith Adams and LeVern “Junior” Lee to create The Spot Studios in Milford, DE.
His work behind the camera was more than a craft, it was a ministry. Through his creative vision and heartfelt approach, he helped clients bring their ideas to life and captured moments that mattered. Neal inspired everyone he worked with, offering encouragement, faith, and clarity of purpose. His photography, much like his ministry, uplifted others and pointed them toward their own potential and God’s grace. In his final years, Neal continued to touch lives through both his photography and his passionate spreading of the Gospel. He will be remembered as a man of faith, vision, and unwavering love for his family, community, and calling.
Neal was preceded in death by his maternal grandparent, Juanita Neal, his paternal grandparents Oscar and Queen Victoria Herring-Williams, stepfather, Ronald Salter Sr., and his brother, Ronald Salter Jr. Three uncles, Jimmie Neal, Oscar Williams Jr, and Victor Williams.
