Killen’s Pond waterpark is a great way to beat the heat this summer. The park is now open for the season.
Slides starting from 54 feet in the air, two speed slides and two spiral slides will keep young and old entertained for hours. The main pool has a zero-depth gravity so it is easy to get in and out. There is also a baby pool and tot lot for the littles in your family.
The baby pool and tot lot offer bubblers, ground water jets, small slides and a pool-side water play system. There is a food concession and swim shop so you can enjoy a delicious lunch or pick up the items you forgot.
Entry to the waterpark requires payment of the park admission as well as an additional fee for the park. Admission to the water park is $10 for adults and $8 for children. On weekends and holidays, the admission is $10 for children and $12 for adults. All children must pay admission.
There are two sessions available per day from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 2 to 6 PM. Tickets can be purchased online or at the park, but the park is first-come-first-served. All patrons must wear swimwear, and no cotton garments are permitted. Thong bathing suits are not permitted, and patrons must be 48” to ride larger slides.
Jewelry, including wedding bands and items made of surgical steel, watches, hats, sunglasses, heavily beaded hair, zippers, buckles, rivets, etc. are not permitted on the slides. No coolers or outside food or drinks are permitted inside the waterpark, but there are picnic areas surrounding the park where visitors can enjoy a picnic lunch.
Air inflated devices, pool toys and pool floats are not permitted and all non-swimmers as well as children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
In case of inclement weather, if the pool must close for the day, they will make an announcement by 9 AM. Patrons who purchased tickets in advance will automatically get a refund. If the park opens but must close later due to inclement weather, no refunds are issued.
The waterpark is open Memorial Day through Labor Day, weekends only through mid-June and mid-August through Labor Day.
